Site visit and measurements

For a project that starts with an existing structure it’s important to have accurate drawings to work from. This may be all you need or this could be the first step in a remodel or an addition. I will come to the site and take photos and comprehensive measurements to put together the existing-conditions drawings.

Drawing Set

This is as little or as much as the client requires and typically evolves through the project but generally include any or all of the following:

• Site Plan

• Floor Plans

• Exterior Elevations

• Building Sections

• Architectural details (wall, floor, roof, etc)

• 3D Renderings

Working out the design

Many of my clients know what they want, when that’s the case it’s my job to transfer those ideas and needs from sketches and conversations to formal drawings so they can then take them to their builders, contractors, or submit them for local approvals.

When that isn’t the case my goal is to work with my clients through concepts to determine what makes sense and what doesn’t for them. Every project is different and the process can be personal, my job is to guide the conversation.
